Nicki is a speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of experience in neurologic rehabilitation. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego, and her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from San Diego State University.
She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of cognitive-communication and swallowing impairments after stroke, brain injury, functional neurologic disorder, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological disorders. Throughout her career she has practiced in a wide range of settings including acute rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, transitional care units, and home health, allowing her to support patients across different phases of recovery.
Her passion lies in helping people regain their independence and re-engage in life by focusing on their strengths and collaboratively developing effective strategies. As a South Bay native, she is grateful for the opportunity to serve this community.
